Pineapplejazz is run by Tijmen Schep, who holds an MA in digital media design and is currently studying New Media

Amongst other things, I work on the design-aspect of the festival.

Back in 2003 I was assigned to create a website for a project that
linked animation and poetry. more than 15 Dutch animators had created
animations based on poems, and I was tasked with creating an interface
that would give access to these movies.

07-05-2007 I tought a course on locative media at the HAN. The course touched on media-filosofical aspects and ended in the presentation of a locative concept for the city of Arnhem.
05-05-2007 I was asked to create a temporary grafiti work at Bevrijdingspop.
04-2007 I made a solar-powered beeping coke-can that was placed on Antarctica. It's trash that stands out even more than usual. I'm presenting it at DEAF07 as part of the interpolar presentation.
03-2007 I accidentally ended up on the discussion panel at the "HOT100" event, organised by Virtueel Platform. We discussed the future of the "cultural sector" in the Netherlands.
